jalexquijano Posted January 1, 2018 Author Share #5 Posted January 1, 2018 Do you mean this same ones from vintage rubber?
S30Driver Posted January 1, 2018 Share #6 Posted January 1, 2018 This is vintage rubber's equivalent of the seal. It's actually a 280 seal, I do not think the factory installed them on the 240z. However, many 240's have since been fitted with them. OEM is NLA as far as I know.
jalexquijano Posted January 24, 2018 Author Share #7 Posted January 24, 2018 (edited) thanks. Sorry for late reply! In conclusión should I purchase the 280z seal instead? Edited January 24, 2018 by jalexquijano
S30Driver Posted January 24, 2018 Share #8 Posted January 24, 2018 The 280 edge seal is, I believe your only choice.
jalexquijano Posted August 3, 2018 Author Share #9 Posted August 3, 2018 i will need two of those seals and some high quality weatherstrip high quality glue. What glue is recommended? https://www.amazon.com/Permatex-81850-Black-Weatherstrip-Adhesive/dp/B000HBI9EQ/ref=sr_1_15?ie=UTF8&qid=1533331393&sr=8-15&keywords=3m+weatherstrip+adhesive or https://www.amazon.com/3M-08008-Black-Weatherstrip-Adhesive/dp/B00063X38M/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1533331393&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=3m+weatherstrip+adhesive&psc=
Mark Maras Posted August 3, 2018 Share #10 Posted August 3, 2018 I've used a lot of Permatex products over the years and had no problems. Either one will do the job but I'd use the 3M adhesive.
jalexquijano Posted August 4, 2018 Author Share #11 Posted August 4, 2018 Ok. Thanks
jalexquijano Posted August 7, 2018 Author Share #12 Posted August 7, 2018 asides from these 2 seals i will need the driver side door seal as due to bad weatherstrip installation the constant opening and closing of the door damaged the seal. Which other supplier in addition to Vintage Rubber and Z Car source sells a tight and snug fit seal for the driver door?
