Posted January 6, 20187 yr comment_539125 Im new here and hoping for some help. When you push on the brake pedal in my 1973 240z the left turn signal lights up on the interior and the exterior light is on. Any ideas what might cause this? January 7, 20187 yr comment_539128 What happens if you turn on the left turn signal? Have you worked on any of the wiring? Remove the blinker relay thingy. See if it still lights up. Possible short in the system. Did you work on anything related to electrical? It’s a Z. Good luck.Phil Smith Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/59309-73-240z-turn-signal-light-issue/#findComment-539128 Share on other sites

January 7, 20187 yr comment_539147 I agree with Patcon. A 3' piece of elec. wire with alligator clips is useful for adding temporary grounds to circuits. Frequently the problem vanishes with the addition of the temp. ground.
