Check out the beauty from @zKars too... Super nice 240 resto with top quality craftsmanship.  Some really nice work on that one.

Hazmatts car should have sold for closer to $35,000 IMHO. Finding a car like that these days is rare and he let his go for far too little.

I know the owner of the 82. The car is VERY original and well taken care of. 

IMHO, there are two things working against that car as a periodic track car.

1. It's a 280ZX. It's not as easy to modify for the track, and it's not really very fast. The t-tops also take out some rigidity. (You could always put bars in the openings I suppose.) I almost ran it over many times on a club cruise, and that was before I replaced my tired engine with a higher compression, angrier mill. The owner mandated that I move in front of him so I wouldn't ride his bumper.
2. That car is pretty original. It is better suited for someone who is looking for a cruising/show car.

The interior of the 82 is what caught my eye. I'm kindof a sucker for shades of blue so that really makes me want to click buy.

Still rather skeptical about the "Don Potter" cams and parts on the 73'. The specs he used are still unknown so where did this guy get his parts from.

Found a video of the car on youtube, but not really convinced. Anyone know this guy?

Follow a build on YOUTUBE.........Pancho's Garage.......very interesting and he is thorough and seems nice enough although I personally wish he would wear ear and eye protection. But his build will give a novice to these machines some ideas. WELKOM! The sunroof well........try to find a car without one.

I have been looking at classifieds and the main problem is I don't know what to look for. I have been avoiding all rust buckets ofc but I can't make out what is in good condition and what isn't.

If it is NOT A RUST BUCKET then expect to pay a premium price because chances are the owner has done all the heavy lifting......AND SPENDING!
