February 5, 20187 yr comment_541619 I watched that the other day and was amazed how clean and well thought out the in car camera driver ran that race. One of the best I've seen. Very much worth a look. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/59455-datsun-llc-rebuilt-engine-opinion/?&page=3#findComment-541619 Share on other sites
February 5, 20187 yr Author comment_541620 My mechanic says 2 or 3 turns is irrelevant. You still need verify the color of the spark plug to get the ideal mixture. I have set the rpm on both carbs at 1000 rpm as i have a scheider 274f cam and the engine was upgraded to 2.6l Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/59455-datsun-llc-rebuilt-engine-opinion/?&page=3#findComment-541620 Share on other sites

Just curious as I know of a few engines that have been passed off as "rebuilt" with just new paint on the block.
