1970 or 1971 240Z wanted

Recommended Posts

It's time to make up for having sold my '70 240-Z back in 1983. It was darn close to perfect after I finished with it.

Anyway, I'm looking for a '70 or '71 in very good condition. Will consider anywhere in North America that a rust-free near-original vehicle is located.

Non-showy performance modifications are OK with me. My original car (pictured below) was a sleeper. I'm sure you guys have better mods and tricks available today. Going from memory, the mods I had previously were:

A Thompson-prepared engine with weber side-drafts, mulholland springs, koni shocks, front and rear sways, reinforced subframe, ansa dual exhaust, minilite magnesium wheels with aluminum lugs, pirelli P7s (?), high-output alternator, cibie lamps. Ignition was the one week-point at higher rpms.

Prefer a car with its original color, although something other than orange, as I already had that color. Also, if anyone can suggest a carshow event in NY/NJ/PA/DL where I can see nice Zs let me know.

TIA

"Ausgang"
