I plan on doing the same thing to my 72 when summer approaches.  However, I plan on saving the heater assembly for any future owner who might want to put everything back to original.  You might want to consider the same.  

I'd be interested to see how the installation of the VintageAge product works out.  Can you keep us posted here with your progress?  Has anyone else done it on an S30?  (I already searched and didn't find anything)
