May 3, 200321 yr comment_35988 Very subjective and somwhat regional....somewhere between 8 and 15,000$US, depending on what you consider 'fully restored'.Good luck!steve77 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/5961-what-is-the-going-price-of-a-concourse-car/#findComment-35988 Share on other sites

If you are talking "concourse" restoration, you'll be hard pressed to find one below $15K anywhere in the US. There will be differences based on region of the US. Could be as much as $20K. May 3, 200321 yr comment_36028 Check with the guys at http://www.classicdatsun.com . They were chosen as a shop (by Nissan) to restore Zcars to their original condition. Talk to Les and tell him that I sent you (Mike Gholson). If they don't have a car for you, they can restore one. May 4, 200321 yr comment_36076 My vote is replacement cost. Any car should be worth what it would cost to replace... if you want one :classic: .Maybe I should be disqualified from this forum, but it makes sense to me! May 4, 200321 yr comment_36079 Originally posted by Harry Frigg My vote is replacement cost. Any car should be worth what it would cost to replace... if you want one :classic: . The operative word here is "should". Many people put far more money into restorations than they can ever hope to get out of the sale of said car. I'm not saying this is fair or not, just that it is a fact of life. May 4, 200321 yr comment_36087 I did say... to someone that wants one.Why do you all want to kill yourself when someone implies that your own cars might be worth what you have in them? I don't get it. It's like "no they're junk and we're dumb for owning them and they will never be worth anything". They are great cars. And hopefully some day, when there are only a few left on the planet you will realize that.
