The MK63 and 13/16 rear drum cylinder should be the same "technology" like the S12W and 7/8 rear drum cylinder. Or am I wrong?

Yeah I`ll check these carbotech ones, a lot of people were telling me about them. Need new shoes anyway.

I was planning to buy the 15/16 master from silver mine motors - Seems that they removed it now from their shop. That thing is pretty hard to find.

Do you have an address? Or is the one from a later ZX like 83 an one working with an adapter between the master and the booster as the mounting points are turned 90°? I mean the electronics should be changeable for the sensor.

Buy the one from Arizona Z Car and it comes with caps and reservoirs for $129.

I have one from them and it arrived perfect.

That this setup works well was backed by the nissan competition catalog were as far as my understanding goes they installed a 4 piston caliper with 41,3 mm dia (FIA MK63 brake) a vented disc and changed the rear drum wheel cylinders to 13/16". Nothing else was touched - is that right? So stock proportion valve, stock 7/8 master.

Hi Guys,

i have been searching for a couple of days on the mentioned 13/16" rear drum cylinders.. i could only come up with the Datsun 1200 (B110) having that size.. maybe my search skills have just gone to crap.

I am looking at a S12+8 or MK63 (if i can push it) upgrade, and i want to keep the car balanced and close to original (early 240z).

Anyone got any further information on this drum upgrade? and if these are off another model car, how easy are they to find and adapt?

Thanks Guys

Its mentioned in the datsun competition catalog right next to the MK63 upgrade. But I couldn`t find any supplier for them...
