Posted May 4, 200321 yr comment_36061 Hi all, I'm rebuilding my wiring harnesses. This is a big chore and I was wondering if anyone knows where I can buy the plastic ends. The ends I am speaking of consist of multiple wires coming into a single recepticle (either female or male depending on the end). May 4, 200321 yr comment_36065 If you are looking for original OE style connectors, I can't help, but if you just want "connectors" that work well. I'd look into Painless Wiring Products and replace all your old ones with quality modern connectors. May 4, 200321 yr comment_36096 MIke, The ends you are after are commonly called Molex connectors. As it is the company that first made them. They are available at Fry electronics, radio shack has some, most any electronic shop.If yours are still good they can be reused. The connectors in them have a little metal tooth that locks in to hold it firmly in the molex(white)housing. There are extraction tools available that will allow you to remove the damaged connector and replace it with a new end that will lock back in place. If you want to experiment ,the round connectors are unlocked by sliding a tube around the outside to push the lock tooth down. The flat require a small flat piece of metal to push down the lock.Look at the replacement connectors and you will see the locks I speak of. May 4, 200321 yr Author comment_36110 I think I know of a place here locally that can provide me with these kind of connectors. I'll have to put together a shopping list and go see if I can find them.I'm thinking about re-doing all of my wiring with new connectors as well as wires.-- Mike Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/5972-where-to-get-wiring-ends/#findComment-36110 Share on other sites
