'72 $3,000

Recommended Posts

Not my car, 1972 240 no title. For $3,000. Whats odd is the New York licence plates on a Tacoma, WA ad. New York has yellow licence plates again as far as I can tell. Seems a bit far to haul for a $3k sale.

Pretty cool car though.

The add for mine was $5,000.  Unable to drive it or at least hear it run I stood firm at $2,000 and said call me when you get it running.  A few hours later, in my driveway.

They're out there, hiding from us but sooner or later word gets out.  Some old man or woman gets tired of walking around one or like my 280, mowing around one. :)

Damn.  I wish it was closer and was better timing.  It doesn't look too bad of shape, from the pictures at least.  I just  bought a house though and as cheap as it is, would not be in the budget at the moment.

That is the kind of car I would like to pick up in another year or two for my next project.

Honestly, I was hoping something like this wouldn't turn up for another year or so haha.

I'm rebuilding an L28 that would sit perfect in this car. If it is as it seems in the ad at least. But I can't quite justify the cost at this point.

I even have access to a truck and trailer to go get it.

Hopefully someone ends up with it and gets it where it needs to be.

I did see this one this morning, I just didn't have time to contact the seller. Tacoma is not that far from me.

Looks to be sold now. Hope it went to a member.

When I first saw the ad, there was no price, he wanted to trade for a few select cars. I figured he would be higher than $3K
