Such a beautiful day out and I only drive my '72 240Z on these type days so I was considering having a sunroof or similar of high quality installed. It's garage kept and if and only if it sees rain is when I unexpectedly get caught out in inclement weather so no issues with any leakage to worry with. Since its Sunday and everything's closed I was hoping someone could share their experience on the cost, fit and finish of a nice sunroof/moonroof for our cars. This isn't a definite decision but something I'm considering so I'm asking the forum for advice or some type of direction on the options I have. Thank you for taking the time to reply with any pertinent information on this.

Thank you,

Cliff

I have decided not to go the sunroof route but to install an LED panel in the headliner that I can load images of the open sky onto it! All the benefits and none of the depreciation!

Don't forget the heat lamps and fan's to complete the sun baking and hair messing experience of a sunroof!

IMHO...a sunroof on a 240Z is up there with a gaudy tattoo and a first wife.  All regrettable decisions in hindsight.

Should you have a desire to feel the wind in your hair while driving a Datsun, get one of these:

That's a great idea! Porn on a loop plus some spray bars, 3D glasses.

Google "squirter girls". LOL

I think these things are cheaper than fashioning a sunroof into your Z. You can run through 1 every 6 months and just get another. F100876103.jpg
