It was only recently in which i was talking to Fstr240 on one of the forums regarding an engine issue. It's shocking to hear about this kind of thing I was in a accident only too recently where my 260z was written off now I know how lucky I really was I wish you a fast and speedy recovery. :(

though i love the Z its as you all must admit, a rolling coffin.

not really much of anything to protect you from any one on the road today.

good luck fstr, lets hope you dont look as bad as you car. those things of material can be replaced, your life cannot, speedy recovery to you and prayers to keep you strong.

good luck, take care, were all wishing you well here

First off I'd like to say that the support is a wonderful thing to see considering many if not all of you have never met him, I myself only met him last Sunday when I drove the 4 hours to see his car as I was considering buying it. So I can't say that I even know him either. Point being, no body knows him but we all do care about our fellow man.

Now on to the update. Here is a direct quoted email from his sister that I got this morning:

"Thank you for the prayers!

so far, Ernie doesn't need surgery and will be moving out of the ICU soon (possibly tomorrow). He is recovering and doing well. the doctors are keeping an eye on him, and ernie is not feeling any major pain. this is the first time ernie has been in a hospital so his alittle embarrassed! :o) we're still taking care of him and we thank you for your concern and prayers! they are very much needed!

we will keep you informed.

God BLess!

ps. we think he will be fine, no broken bones or scratches, it was internal bleeding but it seems to have stopped by itself.(Thank God!) he has to stay in bed for the next couple of days."

Its very sad and overwelming when a member of the family is seriously hurt in an accident of any kind. Members of this forum are like an extended family and concerns are felt in much the same way.

The up side is that the latest news is good and lets pray that it continues. Its kind of overwelming when a SUV rolls up alongside of your 240 and all you can see is running board. I don't want to even think about impact.

So, get well soon, lots of people pulling for you and we don't want to loose a dedicated "Z" driver...........................
