Oh christ...this is shocking...I haven't been on for a few days and look what happens! I know now after reading the posts that you are getting better, but I know just how you feel as I have been in a motorbike accident, and my brother shattered his spine riding off a 40ft cliff on one into a rock quarry!

Fstr240z, take care and know that my thoughts and well wishes go out to you in hoping that you have a speedy recovery. Its not easy, it is painful and you HAVE to take good time out to heal physically and mentally if needed. Its definitely something that won't heal immediately...heres hoping your bed is comfy, the nurses are good and the food comes from your family and not the hospital (no matter angle you look at it from, you still want Burger King!)...come back to us soon!

Well I just got back from the hospital around 11:00. I still have some pain I can't breath to deeply, eat anything heavy, or move too fast since anything that exerts any pressure to my abdomen hurts like crazy.

Well my car is bad, real bad.

The thought of an SUV collision to me now is more than a nightmare.

I was hit by a Chevy Caviler. Their licence plate landed behind my drivers seat.

The door came up and hit my hip.

The car flexed alot, one of the front strut towers bent the carberator filter cover on my weber DGVs and there is quite a distance between them..

On the master brake cylinder one of the caps flew off.

The engine still turs over though.

After the wreck wy adrenaline must have been flowing cause I felt no pain crawled out the passenger side..

Thank God I will make a full recovery in a couple of months. I will be praying always from now on for all you guys that you never ever have to experience

an accident like mine.

Cars can be replaced (regardless of some opinions). The important thing is that you recover fully so you can fully enjoy your driving experience.

SUV's are BAD!! Stay away from them and trucks(even 2Many will agree, I believe).

I have been away and just saw the posts. great that you are doing well and will completely recover. As far as the loss of the 240 , you will find another. But there will never be another you. Keep us in your thoughts and I hope to see your posts here right allong. Good to have you back . Gary

Thoughts and prayers from your buds in Calif. are with you, fstr, as you recover from your injuries. JUst stay in bed and lounge around. I can imagine it might even be hard to sit at the computer right now. Sorry about your 240 but thats replaceable and YOU are not.

Glad to hear you are out of the hospital and your injuries are not too serious !!! I know your accident will be a reminder for me to be a little more careful and be a little less aggressive on the road !!!!! Take good care of yourself and I know you will be back on the road soon !!!!!
