April 13, 20186 yr comment_547295 How much oil are you loosing? If its enough, could be the rear main seal. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/59861--/#findComment-547295 Share on other sites
April 13, 20186 yr Author comment_547296 Just a few drops on the floor after driving. By when it’s not driven I don’t see leaks. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/59861--/#findComment-547296 Share on other sites
April 13, 20186 yr comment_547297 clean it off and that will give you a better answer.... i would say either rear main seal or pan gasket. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/59861--/#findComment-547297 Share on other sites
April 13, 20186 yr comment_547302 rear main/pan/rear side seals. Clean it up real well with some brake cleaner, get it dry as a bone, then drive a bit. If you see oil ONLY around the rear of the pan gasket and if you see oil dripping down out of the trans weep hole, then its prob the rear main and or side seals.
