Posted May 5, 200321 yr comment_36160 Thought I had seen this discussed recently, but searched and found nothing....What was the original spare tire to come with the full-size spare models? In this case: Late 1972. I just bought two '72's and each has a spare in it that looks original. One is a Toyo and one is a Bridgestone. Both made in Japan and both Nylon corded. Are either of these original and if so, does anyone want them?steve77 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/5993-original-spare-tire/ Share on other sites

May 5, 200321 yr comment_36181 I think (99% Sure) it should be a bridgestone RD 150 tyre, 175/14, on a steel rim with long rouned cutouts around the edge of the rim centre, black on the outside of the rim and light grey on the inside.Cheers Chris Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/5993-original-spare-tire/#findComment-36181 Share on other sites
