Posted May 4, 20186 yr comment_548676 What is the box in the middle of the photo. LHS against firewall. It connects up to the clock (not working) and makes a humming noise whenever the battery is connected. Note car is a 73 JDM Fairlady Z / RHD. I know the unit on the left is the Flasher relay. Using his site it is an early two knob rally clock. The hum comes from the tuning fork in the oscillator box. Clock not working however. Another item to add to the list Edited May 4, 20186 yr by scotta Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/59971-what-is-this/#findComment-548686 Share on other sites

May 5, 20186 yr comment_548759 You can measure the clocks “engine” resistant. Wires on these clocks are very fragile and they could just be broken. Numbers should be around these Yellow-Green 400Yellow-White 800White-Green 400 //Andreas Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/59971-what-is-this/#findComment-548759 Share on other sites
