This '73 I am thinking about keeping has a rear-orineted sway bar mounted on the rear. Looks like it has been there about 30n years. It also has the brackiets for a front-oriented rear sway bar welded to the frame. They are identical to the brackets on a 280Z--socket on one side and thread on the other that holds a flat peice of metal that holds the bushing in. There is no sway bar installed in the front-oriented position--just the empty brackets. The rear-oriented one is installed on the mustache bar/rear diffy cross member as you see quite a few 240's....
A. Can someone explain this?
B. What would be wrong with installing a stock front-oriented sway bar in the brackets provided IN ADDITION to to the existing rear-oriented one? Yes, the ends may very well be in the same location, but this could be modified.
