That 2.4 would love that cam and loosing the bottom end might be more about gearing than that cam. That is very streetable . 3:90 gears would be nice for a cam like that.

@Elliott000 Just checked.  Cam for trade has an 8mm intake lobe delta which translates to 0.46" of Cam lift.  No markings on the end.  I think it is a Delta Cam regrind, not a Schneider. It is internally oiled.

It would be similar to a Schneider 260F grind.

Ok thanks for looking into it. At this stage I'm going to run what is on the motor and just see how everything feels before I start changing things on somewhat of an unkown build. I am selling the cam however so if your interested we can work it out. I have it posted on datsun parts and needs on facebook6

Allow me to tell you to tell the story:

Back in the early 90's when I built my car (71) IT HAD to have a cam, Had to!, at the time I worked right down the street from Camonics (NH CA) the owner, Ed Ninos (rip) talked me down into a "mild" grind of 262 duration. it was great!...

Now lets fast forward ...that cam is a pita, it turned(?) the car to be a hooligans car, taking off from street lights is painful without gunning it,. there is nothing under 3000 rpm, at 4000 it explodes with power and pulls to 7k in a second flat.

What can I say...I'm too old for this crap.

The cam sold. So she's no more concern, Now however there are multiple rd25det for sale around here for about 1500 bucks.... Im gunna hold off and spend that on what's needed body wise haha, but that's where my mind is at
