As said, I am looking for a pre-1/78 manufactured 5 speed from a 280z. (pre 1/78 had the same exact linkage assy vs. stock 4 speed in my 72)

Any condition as long as it is rebuildable and no physical damage on the outside.

Are you sure from what I have seen 78 was the first year of 5 speeds for Datsun on any model. But I have been known to be wrong.
