Advice on assessing condition of old rear wheel cylinders

Hey guys. Over my collection period here I have 6 wheel cylinders. I've been tempted to do a rear disc conversion but read mixed reviews and figure I'll just run it stock at first. Should I just clean up these old cylinders and pull the piston to see if shes in nice shape inside? Any other things to look for. I'm sure out of the 6 I must have 2 good ones!

Wheel cylinders like slave cylinders are at the bottom of the system so don't be surprised if they are all rusted but if there is no corrosion on the inner cylinder and it's smooth then it should work fine. Luckily they are still quite inexpensive if you decide to go that route.
