Sometimes when you let the clutch or brake pedal up quickly and they hit the stops you get that metal spring echo sound in the pedal box, I found by stuffing some dense foam up the length of the spring you can get rid of a lot of the sound.

I would think the screaming engine and tire noise when you drop the clutch would hide those noises! Hahahaha

Mark, it doesn’t have the wide open ends like the original part (see Patcon’s Picture), however, it does go on with a little help from needle nose pliers.  I have an extra spring if you’d like it.

I got onto the Century Spring website the other day when I was looking and printed off the relevant pages for similar springs from their pdf catalog. They were supposed to be annotated for long hook springs etc. I never could find the annotation. They probably make the correct spring or one very similar if you could locate the correct number in the catalog
