Does anyone know where I can get a choke handle for a 72 240?  I can't find one anywhere.

You can find these are readily available from multiple sellers. Simply google 1972 datsun 240Z choke lever and u will get multiple hits. Usually run about 15/16$. Buy 2

I have some extras. All are used. I know I have at least one from a 72


72 body and block, everything else 71, Tokico springs, Illumina, R180 CLSD, 83 close ratio, 3.90 gears, Ztherapy SUs, BRE 15X7 Libre wheels and BRE front spoiler.

Don't know if you've seen this already but it's a pretty neat read on the choke handles.  I learned something new for the day. 

 

Is this the one you want. As you can see it has a stress crack or has been epoxy back together.

Send me an address and you can have it. If you need a nice one let me know and I’ll go out to the storage area and look some more.

That looks exactly like the 70-71 knob I got from ebay that doesn't fit.  Perhaps they just look the same have different mounting styles. 

 

If you have one it better shape great but if not that one would work fine.

I guess I have a bigger issue than just the knob. My entire choke lever and cable assy was missing so I got one on ebay and upon inspection it isnt correct. Im guessing its from a 260z. If anyone knows where to get the lever please let me know!
