Hi community.

I have moved to Switzerland from Florida with my 240z and I'm in the middle of getting the homologation of the car  to get Swiss License Plates (for the time being I'm still driving around with my Florida Antique blue plates, see attached pic).

As part of the technical inspection they are requesting that I present the Owners Manual (which did not get when I bought my car).

At http://www.xenonzcar.com/ they had the manual but the link is not working.

Anyone who could help me to get a PDF version of it ?

Ok I will bite and ask a stupid question. What does the owners manual have anything to do with new plates.

I just did a quick search on Swiss requirements for importing a personal car from another country. One of the required bits of documentation is the owners manual... Who knew!

Read the section "How to proceed". I will say that it makes no sense to me why you have to have the owners manual. In the US when you trade a car in, many times the dealership will remove the owners manual and not pass it on to whoever the car is sold to, so it's common to not get an owners manual when buying a used car.

Maybe if someone on these boards has a 72 240z and is in Switzerland they might lend a manual to get through the red tape??

I did find a pdf of a '73 owners manual. Don't know if it will do though.

Nope because in 73 Datsun added the emission controls, changed carburetors, etc.

Accidentally typed FSM instead of owners manual

Darn it I knew there was something I was supossedly to do. I’ll bring it to work on Monday and scan it there. It should make one big pdf.  Shoot me a PM on Monday just in case I forget.
