October 2, 20186 yr comment_558666 This is cool.... way more to this than meets the eye I'm sure, but cool! I like the six speed in my 370Z. I'm sure it would be pretty neat to have it in the 280 as well. October 2, 20186 yr comment_558670 I couldn’t justify it. If you need strength for a high HP build maybe, but the final drive for a standard ZX trans in 5th was lower than 6th gear for the 350z. It wasn’t much lower but still. The option is nice though. October 2, 20186 yr comment_558671 I like the idea of the six speed behind an L series motor. I wonder how the shifter lines up with the stock shifter location? October 2, 20186 yr comment_558673 I would really like having a modern 6 spd transmission but I don't like the idea of drilling my floors for mounts. If I had a more track focused Z then it probably wouldn't bother me. Looks like a nice kit though. October 2, 20186 yr comment_558675 And considering the state of a lot of peoples floors and frame rails..... that is like bolting the tranny up to rice paper! October 2, 20186 yr comment_558678 Suddenly all of those old worthless automatic transmissions have value. I'll bet most have been scrapped. Could be a problem.
