October 6, 20186 yr comment_559007 I put several layer masikin tape stored it for 26years in cellar, outside garage box unheated and stockage room it was still blank metall inside. (It was empty and dry.) Nothing more needed. October 7, 20186 yr comment_559022 I wrapped a whole 2.4 motor I bought off craigslist with shrink wrap from Lowes. If I remember right it was about $20? Worked great for a year or so until I tore it down. Carbs and all, no spider webs or anything like that. Though I may be totally wrong, it just sounds really dodgy lol. October 9, 20186 yr comment_559193 like Patcon recommended a tank sealer might be the best thing to go with if the car has down time. Ive used POR15 tank sealer on my motorcycle tank, very happy with the results.
