There are two digits, the first representing the last digit of the year, the second the month. E.g 2C would be 1972, March. December 30, 20186 yr comment_564867 My '77 has the folding ones. '72 has the solid. Add to that, the folding ones go in the tool pouch under the deck for the space saving spare they did in early '77. Solid ones go in the tool compartment behind the seats for 240s. I put a fire extinguisher in the one behind the passenger's seat. Tire stuff is in the one behind driver's seat. It has a sticker showing the correct placement on the lid. I know you know this. I'm super bored.
