Posted November 24, 20186 yr comment_562252 I have a 1981 280zx and I think I have the sending unit plumbed correctly. But I don't think I'm getting fuel still. The right most line is the vent line. The middle is the send line and the left most is the return right?? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/61137-sending-unit-outputs/ Share on other sites

The it would be your left if you are standing behind the car looking down at the unit. Thanks a bunch! November 24, 20186 yr comment_562259 Does it solve your no fuel problem? You know that the pump only runs when the key is at Start or the engine is running, right? Some ZX's have a 5 second prime when the key is turned on but it's often broken. Is there another way I can prime it? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/61137-sending-unit-outputs/#findComment-562265 Share on other sites
November 24, 20186 yr comment_562280 Pull the wire off of your oil pressure sender and alternator and turn the key on. The pump should get power. The FSM and the EFI Book 1980 have more about how things work. https://www.classiczcars.com/files/category/14-280zx/ https://www.classiczcars.com/files/category/4-manuals/ Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/61137-sending-unit-outputs/#findComment-562280 Share on other sites
