zed2 Posted December 29, 2018 Share #1 Posted December 29, 2018 Put a bottle of champagne in the fridge. When 2019 arrives we will reinstall the horsehair jute on the floor. Awaiting the carpet kit from Seatz which will have the original heel pad and carpet clips. Keith

pogden Posted January 7, 2019 Share #3 Posted January 7, 2019 Modified my Dave Irwin headlight relay harness by replacing the 240Z non-weatherproof connectors with Delphi WeatherPack connectors. I did not want to hack up my original 280Z headlight pigtails with their impossible-to-find Yazaki YPC connectors.
siteunseen Posted January 7, 2019 Share #4 Posted January 7, 2019 New oil and filter then went for a 240 ride for two hours! I've only put 378 miles on it since 12/16/'16, the last oil change. Life...go figure. 280 sits, uninsured with no battery but covered inside my garage.

rcb280z Posted January 7, 2019 Share #6 Posted January 7, 2019 Finally got around to installing the harmonic damper I received for my 280 from Jeff "JSM" about 6 months ago and all is good. There was some question about its stability because of the small crack in the rubber portion of the pulley. I just Trimmed it down flush with the pulley and it looks as if the crack was never there. Plus I had a shop check it out and they said it is good.

gundee Posted January 10, 2019 Share #9 Posted January 10, 2019 Purchased and received these when they were on sale recently. Will have to wait until the car comes out of winter hibernation to report back. https://www.apexengineered.com/store/p22/Crossmember_Upper_Steering_Clamps.html
