Great photos of factory build, do you have any more of the various stages of construction. Would love to see a sequence of the 240Z being put together from new.

 

The picture of the motor being put in from the bottom must not be a series 1 car as the fan isn't metal.

Some of the early Z's did have plastic fan blades but they said FairladyZ on the side. ?

The line worker's had hats in the early photos but  helmets later.

In the 1st picture other than knowing it's a right hand drive what's to say it's a series 1 car?

That fan in the 2nd picture (a fun picture I might add) doesn't appear to have a clutch like the stock nylon fan and fewer blades. This motor looks like it's "going to the races".

Arrival of 3 promotion cars in USA: Date unknown but Pre-Oct 22, 1969

• HLS30-00006 (green) (became Bob Sharp's 33)
• HLS30-00007 (red)
• HLS30-00008 (silver)

These cars were used in the USA for promotional photos and car shows. #6 was damaged in Jan 1970 and given to Sharp.

Thanks to @26th-Z for the photo of #6 at the Boston Auto Show in 1969.

Kats and Alan posted pictures of the Pierre Hotel event in posts 108-110 in your other thread below.  The two Japanese ladies rolling the car cover back on the green car is a photo of the Pierre Hotel.  The overhead photo of the larger group with the silver car is the LA Hilton event.

Thanks Mike!  I thought they all were from the LA Hilton.  I'll update the above post.
