Use of Mobile 1 Synthetic oil on Fresh Engine Build?

I had my L28 engine on my 81 280ZX freshly rebuilt. I am reaching out to the community to see if it is good to use 0W40 or 10W40 full synthetic oil on a fresh rebuild?
