Bidding is at $1250 already and the car is worth about that. The dashpad is cracked, the quarters are bondo'd, stock running gear and unknown engine condition. Roof, doors and hatch look good and wheels and tires are ok. Interior is filthy but seats are okay. Frame (body) is twisted and the front end is a goner. Not worth $1500 in my opinion. No value left to either make a profit or make it worthwhile.

At $1250 it will end up being $1500 with all the fees tacked on

The prices on the COPART site are in $CAD

So the bid of $1150 CAD is only $864 USD, but the reserve is not met yet.

The listed value of $18,000 CAD is really $13,530 USD.

Not knowing where the reserve is, it may still get to high for a parts car.

Then add on the cost of going to get it, or have it shipped.

Well a local spy just asked if I have any fenders and hood for sale. Seems a friend of a friend bought this thing and thinks they can save it.  Gotta love a dreamer.

That's ambitious!

Probably salvageable if the firewall and cowl area aren't too bad, but it's a lot of work and will probably need the whole right side of the engine bay. Along with a radiator support

Fibreglas rear bumper, cracked dash, stock drivetrain, stock brakes, interior is filthy, bondo on the quarter panels, lumps in the paint show poor body work.
Glass was good, tires and wheels were still good, but overall, nothing spectacular or worth more than what it sold for.

I am assuming Jim looked at it and determined the quarters were filled. That was one of the aspects that gave the car value until you find out they are previously damaged
