Posted January 22, 20196 yr comment_566415 I am not positive this car will have it because it's automatic but it is apparently a turbo according to the VIN https://www.copart.com/lot/23979129 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/61454-limited-slip-in-california/ Share on other sites
January 22, 20196 yr comment_566418 Some of the 88's have a VLSD. The Shiro's. The one in your link looks like one. Don't know if they all had the VLSD or if some had the CLSD. Something to check. The Hemmings article implies that they all do. They have special axles so don't swap easily. January 23, 20196 yr Author comment_566427 I have a vlsd out of a Shiro and a CLSD. You are correct. The swap is not a problem as long as you have the Shiro half shafts. They are very different on the differential end. I dont know how to verify on the Shiro or not. The wheels and the white paint look like it. The diff should have a small VLSD tag on one of the cover bolts Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/61454-limited-slip-in-california/#findComment-566427 Share on other sites

January 23, 20196 yr comment_566434 The Shiro wheels are painted white, so unless they have been changed, then probably not a VLSD. These appear to be standard turbo alloy wheels. I'm wondering where all the turbo labeling went on the body. White repaint maybe? I don't remember there being an engine picture but the VIN indicates it should be a turbo. I am unsure if all the turbo cars got LSD's in that year range Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/61454-limited-slip-in-california/#findComment-566481 Share on other sites
