I have 6 grand nephews under 7 with another due in June... sometimes it looks like a schoolyard around my house!

Glad you have that home and best of luck with the restoration. Those are such great looking cars.
wheee! Posted March 27, 2019 Author Share #43 Posted March 27, 2019 The house was part of the deal in restoring the 280. The wife said I needed a shop on the property if I wanted a hobby that was going to take all my time. So we sold the old house and bought this one. I think we both got what we wanted out of the deal. I was sold when I saw the garages and she was sold on the house and property. Now she tells me I have to include the cost of the house in the restoration expenses...anyone interested in a million dollar Z?
wheee! Posted June 6, 2019 Author Share #44 Posted June 6, 2019 Doing some bumper powder coating!
motorman7 Posted June 6, 2019 Share #45 Posted June 6, 2019 Wow, love the powdercoating. I may have to learn how to do that.
wheee! Posted June 6, 2019 Author Share #46 Posted June 6, 2019 The bumpers were painted red by the previous owner. They were stripped, and powder coated in Eastwood Extreme Chrome. It's so easy to do... I legitimately prefer powder over paint. If the item can withstand the heat, it gets powdered!
motorman7 Posted June 6, 2019 Share #47 Posted June 6, 2019 Just had to share this....the Petersen Museum did a nice photoshoot of my roadster when it was there. Here is a link to the photos. Looks pretty cool with the white background, white on white. https://ted7.smugmug.com/Cars/Professional-Party-Photoshooti/Petersen-Museum/n-VpDPSh/JDM-Exhibit/Datsun-1600/
