March 28, 20196 yr comment_572012 We're having a "pollen blizzard" around here so I abhor nature at the moment. If only I had a Kirby salesman to vacuum this crap out of my life... March 30, 20196 yr comment_572185 I'm stuck indoors until some rain comes through this evening and washes that stuff away for a day or two. Lesson I learned the other morning, do not take Benadryl in the a.m. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/61900-original-steering-wheel-colour/?&page=2#findComment-572185 Share on other sites

October 9, 20204 yr comment_607518 I wanted to comment on this post. I never saw a wheel in person that is the same color as those photos. In fact, I would go so far as to say the years have not changed the color of the wheel at all. The finish may have wore off in areas and caused discoloration but the color hasn't changed. Like others have already mentioned, the knob and the wheel were two totally different colors. October 9, 20204 yr comment_607535 In the 30 years I've owned this car I don't think the wheel color has changed. Car has only been used for "joy riding" and garaged since day 1 that I've owned it. The original owner kept it garaged when home, but did use it to commute some. I keep the wheels clean and think the wear of the paint on the wheel spokes shows some character and that the car actually has been used over its 50 year life and about 110,000 miles.
