rturbo 930 Posted April 23, 2019 Share #2 Posted April 23, 2019 I follow a guy on Instagram who was attempting that swap, but just sold the car. The engine looked like it actually fit in the bay pretty well. I was surprised. Should make a great noise if they manage to do it.
grannyknot Posted April 24, 2019 Share #3 Posted April 24, 2019 It looks like a tall engine, it will be interesting to see how they handle that deep oil pan sump.

grannyknot Posted May 14, 2019 Share #5 Posted May 14, 2019 @NVZEE, do you know if these guys have a thread going some where showing more detail? Got to find out what happened to the oil pan.
NVZEE Posted May 14, 2019 Author Share #6 Posted May 14, 2019 Dry sump? The builders are engineers, so they probably have a trick solution planned. Autoweek’s the only source I’ve seen on the project.

ensys Posted December 4, 2019 Share #9 Posted December 4, 2019 That's quite a snootfull alright. Ought to have some interesting handling qualities. Especially with those wheels and tires... Takes me back to '64 Chebbies roaming the barrios back in the eighties. Of course, it's obvious from the lack of air cleaners that it wasn't meant to actually be driven. Looks good standing still tho.
