This paper came with the car that I just bought. It obviously looks like a receipt, but it appears to be missing the bottom third of the paper. Like it Got ripped off or something. Anyone know where I might find a full copy of it online? What exactly is it?

I posted the image in the Georgia Z Club group to see if someone might be able to shed some light on the subject.

Looks like a receipt for the purchase of a 1977 280z with air conditioning and stereo added.  Can't quite read the 3rd item, but, it looks like Coco mats were thrown in at no charge.  Something else on the receipt about racing mirrors to be paid when installed or delivered?

I can see that, but idk if I have the full document or not. I think im missing the bottom third of it.

Likely they tore off the bottom half when the car was delivered?

Looks like one of those old 2 part forms where the bottom is snapped off and kept by the dealer. Looks like your customer portion is complete, the total for the car and upgrades looks like it was $8155.07. Looks like he might have paid cash.

One person on FB suggested that it might have been documentation for the finance department, as in the customer gets the top half, and the bottom half gets processed at the dealership.

I think you missed the note that the lien holder is the Georgia Telco Credit Union.

It's just a plain old purchase order isn't it, before the internet.  1977.

Interesting that it came with the 5 speed.

The lein holder would just be the bank he borrowed the money from, right.  Typical car loan.

The bottom half is probably the "agreement to pay" with the buyer's signature, that the dealership keeps.

Looks like Herbert was a government employee.  Maybe military.  GEICO insurance before they opened up to the general public.
