Picked up a set of VTO Deep Dish 16's

So, I picked up a set of the new VTO Deep Dish Minilite-Style wheels.  Excited to see an update from Alex showing them on the CNC machine!

I don't think I have ever seen blank wheels like that before, did you ask for them not to be pre drilled ?

Nope, they are drilling them specific to my bolt pattern.  The way I understand it, VTO casts all their wheels as blanks and then provide custom drilling for the application.

I would expect that all the wheel manufacturers do that for any cast wheel. If they were to cast the holes in, they would need either a very complicated and expensive mold to accommodate the different lug locations, or even worse... A different mold for each option. 

In other words... No way. They'll just cast them all blank and put the holes in later.

On a related note, I've seen blank versions of the Z-popular Ansen Sprint slot mags on ebay and other sales outlets.

So what do you guys think?  Got them on the car today.   The VTO Wheels look pretty damn nice!

And of course that turned into a car detail project. She’s nice and shiny.

Mike, is there any wheel offset?  Any issues with the front rotor caps hitting the wheels?

These have a zero offset.  No issue at all with the rotor caps.  These are the 16x7 size.
