duffymahoney Posted May 31, 2019 Share #1 Posted May 31, 2019 I am blown away by the quality and engineering that went into this Zcargarage BBK (big brake kit) The kit was designed by stoptech engineers and Zcargarage from the ground up for the Z. I am sort of a guinea pig to see if consumers can install this kit. They have amazing detailed 40 page instructions. Which in the car world is rare. I’m stoked to get them installed. Kit comes with everything needed to install and retains stock parking brake and MC. Fits 15x8 wheels as well! So light!
Patcon Posted May 31, 2019 Share #2 Posted May 31, 2019 Does the kit come with front and back brakes? What is the selection of pads that fit?
AK260 Posted May 31, 2019 Share #3 Posted May 31, 2019 This looks awesome!! Are they purely a 240 item or do they accommodate late 260 / 280z hubs? Ps. Got linkie?
rturbo 930 Posted May 31, 2019 Share #4 Posted May 31, 2019 I wasn't aware they were available to non-customers of the shop, but it sounds like that's something they're just starting to sell to the public. Is this a front and back kit? If so, how do they address the emergency brake in back?
duffymahoney Posted May 31, 2019 Author Share #5 Posted May 31, 2019 Should accomadate 240-280z. Full kit. Comes with pads. I don’t know if you can pick other types? Includes everything. Even brake fluid.

grannyknot Posted May 31, 2019 Share #7 Posted May 31, 2019 I was talking to Rob Fuller at ZCG about buying the big brake kit a couple months ago, the price is a bit high for me but I'm sure it's worth every penny. The one review I read said the stopping power was stunning, nice to see the finished version isn't red, yellow or neon gold.

I've been working on something similar I have held Jason’s in my hands and weighed them! (Callipers that is, nothing worse you may be considering!!!)They are FEATHER light and make my S12W callipers look like they were made of lead!!!! duffymahoney Posted June 1, 2019 Author Share #12 Posted June 1, 2019 (edited) Rotors are 11x20.5mm or so. I have no way to weight them. Most of the kit is installed already. But everything is very very light Edited June 1, 2019 by duffymahoney
