May 24, 200321 yr Author comment_38644 Yeb, 120 euro per ball joint and even then you won’t get a nut. Consider I’ve got 20% discount, I did not have to pay the taxes!!:classic: Nissan prices are high therefore I asked Courtesy what they charged.Living in Europe is not easy:stupid: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/6239-ball-joints/?&page=2#findComment-38644 Share on other sites

May 24, 200321 yr comment_38661 Hi don't know if I can help but on my 240z I changed the ball joints and I did notice that the crown nut was a bigger diameter than the original ones. I thought maybe it would not go back into the strut as a result but I didn't have troulbe with it. However with my ball joints I got The Crown Nut and the Pin that goes through that with the ball joints. I think I only paid $60 for the ball joints $120 for both sides. That's in AUS$$$ so would be really cheap compared to US$$. The tie rod ends is what stung me $198 for both  GermanZ I love the leather Datsun seats you have absolutely magnificent. It's one thing I've envied of Porsche owners is there high quality interior. I'd love to treat my Z to the same goodies and get my door skins done the same. May 24, 200321 yr comment_38663 For future reference, you can get the wasp brand tie rod ends in Aus for a shade under 50bucks each, seem reputable, and many people who have used them have had no problems Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/6239-ball-joints/?&page=2#findComment-38663 Share on other sites

May 25, 200321 yr comment_38736 Hello, Have to share you this for future reference. Too late for some of you but there is going to be the time. I bought new balljoints from motonet.fi which is some what cheap parts store in finland. The joints are the same as in 510 Datsun if I remember correct. These do not have the greaseknob as my originals did and as yours do Zpoint.....Well they fit fine. As you can see they are from 72 forwards.240Z/260Z S30 72--77 Alapallon.. V/O.17-1029 16.48 Euro/eachThe site is in Finnish. If anyone is interested I can translate and give the info of the parts that you are interested in.
