You may still recall from the last year’s Japanese classic cars very nicely represented at the La Jolla Concours d’Elegance.

The 2019 La Jolla Concours will be held on April 12 – 14  at the Cove area on the cliffs.  The all Japanese Class announced for 2019 will focus on Japanese cars of the 1970’s. This is a Concours judged event inviting cars to register that are mainly non modified cars, or unrestored cars.  Certain period accessories like wheels, tires, options will be considered.

Last year the Japanese class was focused on cars of the 1960’s and is was a big hit.  Mazda entered their survivor Cosmo.  They are looking for about 10 cars to complete the field. This is a quality event with a wide variety of classic and sports car on the field and in a car corral outside the Concours area.

There is also a non-concours show with separate registration outside the fence called:  La Jolla Motor Car Classic at the Concours. Japanese cars can register in the “special interest class” Trophies are available for that class on their own.  Race cars will also have their own class.  All of the information details are on the La Jolla Concours website.
