I hope you're not planning on simply cutting off the old roof at the pillars and welding on a new one. The correct way is to replace the skin and leave the roof structure intact. The pillars have a couple layers of metal, and you can't weld them all from the outside, so the end product will be weaker/structurally compromised.

I have one but everyone that I have quoted it to, has balked at the shipping. They are not cheap to package and ship because of the size

Ever drive to Phoenix? I have a roof skin down here.

(and rturbo is exactly correct - you need to de-skin the sunroof.  The pillars are multiple pieces of folded metal.  The skin has lots of spot welds but not nearly as bad a job as I first imagined. Plus,` body lead at the four corners - melt it out and wipe it off. We've done a couple here at the shop.)
