Posted August 10, 20195 yr comment_581639 Picked up this questionable 280 Z project. Not sure what suspension setup this is. I have new Nissan shafts that are for a 300 ZX, so I’m thinking that is what the differential is. What kind of suspension does it have. Was it a kit you could buy 10 years ago? August 10, 20195 yr comment_581640 It looks like an R200 by size, shape, and the lack of the bolt-on plate on the sides. But the internals and the back cover are all interchangeable so you won't really know what type of limited slip, assuming it is, unless you take the cover off and look. August 10, 20195 yr Author comment_581642 Your probably right not a 300zx rear end. Shafts interchangeable? So how do you adjust the camber and toe? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/62637-what-rear-end-is-this/#findComment-581642 Share on other sites
August 10, 20195 yr comment_581645 It could be a 300ZX R200. That' what they look like. Bit so do all of the other R200's. Loosen the locknut and turn the end link. I think that's a custom-made control arm setup. Looks pretty well-made though. Decent welds and stout design. August 11, 20195 yr comment_581678 I agree. It looks custom made. The welds they look OK but not professional. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/62637-what-rear-end-is-this/#findComment-581678 Share on other sites
