Av8ferg Posted August 15, 2019 Share #1 Posted August 15, 2019 Hey guys, I have 5 hours to burn and have found a cool salvage yard. It has three 280z’s and one 240z. If you need something that’s not really big or difficult to remove post in this thread and I’ll see what I can do for you. This is where I found Mikes ashtray for his 240z a few months ago. Patcon Posted August 15, 2019 Share #6 Posted August 15, 2019 You should get the early gas cap and ring if it's not too bad. Have it plated or send it to Jim (jfa) to have it plated
siteunseen Posted August 15, 2019 Share #7 Posted August 15, 2019 (edited) If it has the oe radio still, doubtful, 240260280 needs the knobs. The steering wheel is easy to get. And drum role here.......the carbs. I know they're gone but wishful thinking. Edited August 15, 2019 by siteunseen
EuroDat Posted August 15, 2019 Share #8 Posted August 15, 2019 I have a couple of things I would like to have. If it's not too much trouble. 280Z: - The two fusable link holders on the passenger strut tower with about 12 inches of wire. It's the bottom section od POS#17 in the parts list drawing. Don't need the plastic covers or the links. - Engine bay wiring harness staps that click into the panels. - The 4x M3 clips on the 280Z grill. It's where the vertical bar connects to the bottom horizontal bar.
siteunseen Posted August 15, 2019 Share #9 Posted August 15, 2019 I recently received a fusible link upgrade from a Cadillac car from @wal280z I'm not doing the swap until it cools off here, October maybe? If I end up not using those you're welcome to them. I haven't spent time reading the directions yet so I'm not positive it's still used?
gwri8 Posted August 15, 2019 Share #10 Posted August 15, 2019 If there is an early 77' with the sloped rear panels, I'm looking for the interior plastic rear finish panel, #47 in this picture. I'm also looking for #'s 25 & 26 (side sloped panels). Thanks!
