G'Day you lot, I'm BACK.

Had trouble with the server.

The All Classic Motor Club of Central Queensland, (of which I am a member), has it's annual Classics by the Coast this Sunday and, for the FIRST TIME, I have entered "Precious" to dazzle the eyeballs of all who gaze upon her beauty.

WISH ME LUCK.

So far there are over 150 entries and more are expected to nominate on the day.

There will be Classics, Vintage, Bikes of all marques.

Looking forward to it.

Rick.

Thanks Tanny, Biker, Alfa and Zedrally.

Hey Biker,

Are you telling me that things have been quiet while I've been out of action ???????

No worries about the Kiwis mate, just give 'em a lambswool seat cover and they'll just sit there revin' the engine all day.

Rick.

Bravo

It's always quiet until you take the mickey out of our American friends.

I just hope they don't class you as a galah or drongo

:classic:

Do any of our american friends think this of Bravo????:cheeky:

I heard that they have banned sheepskin seat covers in NZ as there are not enough trimmers to keep up with business:tapemouth

PS: Do you guys call us "Septic Tanks" because we're full of sh*t?

$^!#, no, Bambi.

As I explained once before, We OLDER, crazy Aussies can remember using a rhyming slang called STRINE, hence;

A Bag Of Fruit = SUIT.

Hit the frog and toad = Hit the Road.

Septic Tank = Yank.

Get the idea ???.

As for being called a Galah ( which is a type of Ausiee parrot) or a Drongo (a rather stupid bird, now extinct), well, Biker was being his nice, sensitive, thoughtful self with his explaination. The term also means a BLOODY FOOL.

Rick.
