That and the liability that comes along with repairing them. I suspect if they get sold it will be with parts only titles. Also they have probably never had titles issue so that could be part of the problem too

Similar fate to the several thousand cars that were on the ship that rolled on its side a few weeks ago off the east coast of the US.  Scratch & Dent sale in that instance.
