1991 Nissan 300zx twin turbo RACE CAR

RARE, Very early VIN: _00008, hardtop, 4,600 miles,

Come and see. Located in 30281. Buyer is to pay all shipping, etc.,  can ship internationally at buyer's expense and responsibility.  

VIN verifies that this is a true 1991 hardtop.  It was originally sold directly to a racing organization and used for training and backup.  

This car was never titled for the street and it is NOT a conversion of a street car. 

 

Fully operational, can be raced, or put in a museum.

300zxTT models were used in the IMSA Supercar races in the 1990s,  

Can be used in vintage and historic races,

I do not have a log book,  and NO SPARE PARTS,

 

Exterior

rare hardtop. Red, white and blue paint is excellent.  original steel body panels,

elevated rear wing,  pins release hood and trunk, no rust, 

 

Engine

V6 3L DOHC, Twin Turbo.  It has always started and run strong,  

555cc injectors, twin big after-market intercoolers and turbos, race radiator,

 

Drivetrain

race built 5 speed manual transmission,

BBS alloy wheels, 9x17" and 11x17", 5 hole, long stud, 

tires: good tread, 275/40 and 315/35, 

power steering and brakes (Brembo), ventilated rotors, no HICAS rear wheel steering, no ABS, 

front and rear strut tower braces, adjustable springs and A-arms, new adjustable tie rods,

 

Interior

kill switch + 10 switches, circuit breakers, stock tach and stock 160mph speedometer.  

plus extra VDO gauges for vacuum/boost, oil temp, oil pressure, water temp, 

 

Safety

fire system, full roll bar cage, double side impact bars, removable steering wheel

window net, one race seat and harness, fuel cell, steel braided lines, driver heat protection, 

front and rear tow hooks, battery disconnect on right side dash.  

 

THIS IS A RACE CAR.  NEVER TITLED.  

no ignition key,  no side windows, no door panels, no heater, no AC, 

no radio, no hood or trunk release, no carpet, ...

And now for something completely different....

Looks like the real thing, pretty amazing.

Not sure you could do much with it other than display or track it.

To the seller's credit he does not make claims for the car beyond that.

If a buyer goes that route, the car should be the terror of any Z car track meet it shows up at.

Something doesn't line up here. A 1991 Z32 would be in the second year of production. A VIN ending in 00008 would more likely be a 1990 car.

Would more likely be a 1989 car… ( the 300zxtt came out late '89..)

Not in the US model year notation.
