Today, 24/05/03, at 16:08, I handed over the keys to my Z.

Yes, I am now officially Z-less. Didn't last long, huh?

I just want to say, I know I have this so called Z bug, but I will try to fight it as best I can in the years to come!

Not to say I dont ever wanta Z again - as soon as I can afford it I'll get another, just at this time I simply can't. I'd rather it went to someone who would be able to put money into it and fix it up.

So, guys, please dont rub it in too much. I mean all those latest pics in the gallery will be more than enough (thank you Alan!) without your taunts ... :disappoin

I know your budget doesn't allow but it won't take long. You'll miss it so much you'll be looking for another :classic: . I was Zless for about 1 year and looking at other Z's on the net and watching other people's restoration projects drove me so nuts I had to get another .

I had my Corolla some people do those AE92's up and stick the 4AGZE engine in it. FOr a 4 banger goes like hell and I can see the fun but a FWD shopping cart was not for me. Truth of the matter is there's so much support on the net for Z car owners. Were a hands on bunch who like to work on our cars ourselves and help each other. With the Corolla clubs or forums I found it very difficult to get help with some of the problems I was having.

But Alas there's other things in life and when your on a UNi budget it doesn't help owning a Z. I haven't bought a decent set of clothes in a while(mum sometimes helps out good on ya mum).

THere's going out with friends aswell and sometimes you have to give up things like your Z.

But don't worry i for one will still talk to you and your 240k shares the mechanicals that our little Z does so we should be able to assist you.

Of course, I would definitely not leave this forum even if I bought a Corolla!!! (you might kick me out though )
