They're proud of that.

I googled the part number for the 280z and found sources claiming they were in stock for about $95.

I didn't check the 240 part number

Just checked that part number. Pretty much everybody I saw was cheaper than $308

Courtesy was $254

Amazon was $220

Plenty on ebay from $150- 170

This dealership likes to offer sales of 10-18 percent off the 'green" price, so in-between sales they are high on some parts. The sale price seems more inline with the Courtesy pricing. I don't usually buy from Amazon. eBay can be hit or miss too. Sometimes you get great deals though. You have to watch it like a hawk, as there is a lot of competition.

Question.. if a 280z fillerneckis 95 bucks.. does that one fit a 240/260? Or can we easely make it fit?

Maybe someone has pics of these different necks?

I would venture to say all the full size spare tire tanks are the same, the 77-78 with the space saver spare is a completely different tank.

Where did you source that?

I so badly want to say that Nissan found one more roll of original jute laying around and I was able to source it! 😛

However, I was able to get it from martrim.co.uk.  Here is my order info:

That is about $186 given current exchange rates, and given how heavy and large it is, I would have figured just shipping would be that much!

From the picture, it looks like it is dark colored throughout, however, it is only colored on one side and on the edges.  On the opposite side, it is tan.  But, it is the closest thing that I can find to the original jute after looking A LOT over the last few years.

Now, I need some accurate templates for cutting the jute to match the factory ones.

Pretty sure I still have my original just from the trans tunnel and under the seats that I used to cut mine. Trans tunnel was the only one that was really unique. I did buy one precut from zeddsaver, but I wasnt happy with it and ended up making one. I used the rear deck carpet as the guide to cut the jute. Let me know if you want any of it.

I have a good trans tunnel jute to use as a pattern.  I do not have any front floor or under seat jute to use as a pattern.  I definitely have some interest in those.  I scored a nice piece of jute, along with what I believe to be an original rear hatch area carpet from eBay recently.  It is not perfect, but good enough to use as a pattern, I think.

I believe the resource section has templates for them except maybe the floor mats. Unless I forgot to post my tunnel templates?

I will take a look for these.  Thanks!

If you don't find templates let me know and I could make tracings of mine and snail mail them to you. The ones I have are OE from my 7/70 and are in surprisingly good shape. The only one that is not OE is for the right side front floor, so the one I have is traced from what was let of the original about 35+ years ago.
