Inf Posted May 27, 2003 Share #1 Posted May 27, 2003 I looked through the archives and couldn't find any info on this. What temperatures are acceptable to have por-15 cure at? I might put off doing the underside painting until I have some time off this December. It doesn't usually get down to freezing in Dallas that early, but usually 40s-50s during the day. Will this be too cold to paint without heating up the garage some?Andrew
Bambikiller240 Posted May 27, 2003 Share #2 Posted May 27, 2003 Temps in the 40-50 range is WAY too cold for POR'ing. My POR rep reccommended 75 degrees+, but I suspect that 70+ would be acceptable too. Basically, you need some humidity AND warm weather for successful POR15 application. I would not advise waiting till December given the tempuratures that you mentioned.
