Posted March 14, 20204 yr comment_594326 This is really amazing to me. $6,700 significant rust and doesn't run. The ACV is unrealistic too $46k https://www.copart.com/lot/31672690 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/63695-74-260z-copart/ Share on other sites
March 14, 20204 yr comment_594327 I'm going to have to re-think how I define "normal wear". Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/63695-74-260z-copart/#findComment-594327 Share on other sites
March 14, 20204 yr comment_594328 Meanwhile a numbers matching 8/70 on bat a few months ago sold for $1k, and was less of a project than that. Pft, forget craigslist, I’m just going to sell my parts cars on copart. That’s crazy...it’s hard to believe those are real bids for that car. March 14, 20204 yr comment_594329 I wonder who the "seller" is, to set a reserve so high for big bumper 260Z? Seems fishy. What is Copart? March 14, 20204 yr comment_594332 I was thinking Copart was an insurance sale for crashed cars? Apparently it isn't anymore. They have reserves? Did not know that. March 14, 20204 yr Author comment_594333 They have always had reserves It is primarily a market place for salvage vehicles, but they have tried to expand that in recent years to vehicles that aren't wrecked. They also sell donated vehicles, like Angel cars. A car like this is probably a private seller but most of the cars are being offered by insurance companies. sometimes the ad says who the seller is, sometimes it doesn't. I just thought the price was astounding Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/63695-74-260z-copart/#findComment-594333 Share on other sites
